HiGlobe wanted dimension without going full 3D. Its new globe now turns on seven regional homepages.

higlobe.com and Fri3nds project record, 2026
HiGlobe helps professionals in Latin America, the Philippines and India get paid from the US and EU and bring that money home, at the lowest cost guaranteed. We have been HiGlobe's Webflow team since 2023, so when the marketing team planned a new homepage, the hero came to us too. A globe already sat at the center of the brand. Jessica Smith, HiGlobe's Creative Director, wanted it to move and to feel like it had depth, without breaking a brand built on flat shapes and bold color. She put the brief in one line on our kickoff call.
"We're very flat, but we'd love to reference dimension in 3D without going full 3D."
— Jessica Smith, Creative Director, HiGlobe
Jess knew the look she wanted: a wireframe globe with a clean, even stroke, soft glowing clouds behind it and thin lines of light crossing the surface, not a 3D sphere with a grid stretched over it. She also knew the order of priorities. A hero is the first thing every visitor sees, on every market's homepage, and a 3D scene asks a lot of the browser. It has to load, render and start turning without holding up the headline or the sign-up button, on a desktop browser and on a phone.
"I think I'd love the aesthetic first, as a first priority, and then what we can do with that aesthetic."
— Jessica Smith, Creative Director, HiGlobe
We paired with our 3D partner, Johnny Velez Parra, who built the globe in Spline, while our Webflow team owned how it lives on the page. Each round went to Jess for review, and her notes on stroke, glow and the lines of light shaped every version. A few build decisions mattered most. The glow behind the globe is part of the Webflow page, not the 3D scene, so the browser renders less. The scene waits for the hero's intro animation to finish before it loads, then fades in, with a safety timer so it always appears. On phones, visitors see an animated version of the same globe instead of the live scene. The scene file itself weighs about 44 KB.

We built and reviewed on staging first, the same way we ship everything for HiGlobe, then released the new hero across every regional homepage: global, the Philippines, India, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Brazil, in English, Spanish and Portuguese. On the monthly call that week, Damarley Robinson, HiGlobe's Senior Marketing Specialist, thanked the team for the release.

"I appreciate you guys all the hard work getting that out the door."
— Damarley Robinson, Senior Marketing Specialist, HiGlobe
The flat map globe in the old hero is now a turning 3D wireframe, in the style Jess asked for, on every market's homepage. It is part of the same Webflow site HiGlobe's team already runs, so headlines, offers and translations change around it without touching the 3D scene. The next homepage update is a ticket to the same team, not a new vendor.
