We built Ochsner's Connected Health site in Webflow in 2022. Three years later it still runs on that build, now twice the size.

Ochsner Health is one of the country's largest non-university academic medical centers. Its Connected Health team runs programs that keep patients in touch with their care team from home: Digital Medicine for high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes and related conditions, Connected MOM for expecting mothers, and others. In 2022 ThreeSixtyEight, a Baton Rouge creative agency we have built many Webflow sites with, took on the job of giving these programs one proper home on the web. They brought Fri3nds in to build it in Webflow.
"Fri3nds have been such a great partner to us"
— Kenny Nguyen, CEO, ThreeSixtyEight
Each program spoke to different people. Digital Medicine alone needed pages for patients, caregivers, employers and health plans, plus getting started, FAQs and resources, and every other program needed its own version of that set in its own voice. Our goal, as we put it at the time, was to bring the power of the site back to Ochsner's marketing team: a site their people could keep growing as the programs changed. Midway through, the build hit a 50-item CMS cap caused by a Webflow plan bug. We took it to Webflow's partner support the same morning so the content work could keep going.
We started with foundations. Before the program pages, we built a style guide and a library of components, sliders, video blocks and navigation patterns inside the Webflow project, so every new page could be assembled from parts that already matched the brand. Each program then got its own section with a shared skeleton (about, getting started, FAQs and resources) and its own navigation, under a Connected Health hub that ties them together. For Digital Medicine we built curated pages for patients and caregivers living with diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol, plus blog and article templates in the CMS. We worked the copy through with ThreeSixtyEight's team in a dedicated session before it went into the build.

We finished the build in December 2022 and handed the project to ThreeSixtyEight, and by early 2023 connectedhealth.ochsner.org was running on it. Every program section works on a phone the way it does on a desktop, which matters for a site whose whole promise is care from home. ThreeSixtyEight also introduced us to Ochsner's digital team to talk about Webflow support for the year ahead.

"They've helped us build some incredible webflow sites and I think they'd be a great fit for the ongoing webflow support you are looking for in 2023."
— Kara Pitre, Director of Operations, ThreeSixtyEight
More than three years later, the site still runs on the Webflow project we built. It has grown from 43 URLs in its March 2023 sitemap to 86 today, with new pages, curated content and a news section added on the same foundations, and programs that closed were retired without a rebuild. That is what a component system is for: the site changes as Ochsner's programs change, and the build underneath stays put.
