Quantum Temple

RNR designed it, we built it in Webflow, and by November 2021 quantumtemple.io was selling sacred artifacts in drops timed to the moon.

Who Quantum Temple is and why it needed a home for sacred cultures

Quantum Temple is an impact e-commerce brand built to promote and protect cultural heritage. The team travels country by country, works with master artisans who use local materials and time-tested techniques, and sells limited-edition artifacts that each come with a story. The goal, in the brand's own framing, is to support the next generation of makers while keeping ancestral traditions alive. The project came to us through RNR, the creative studio that art directed it and created the brand, built around a cosmic egg motif drawn from creation stories across cultures. Our job was to turn that design into a working Webflow site.

The challenge: a store that opens with the moon

Quantum Temple did not want a standard online shop. It planned to release its collections in moon drops: one curated drop each moon cycle, each tied to a culture, its rituals and the keepers behind it. In August 2021 quantumtemple.io was still a single waitlist page. The full site had to build anticipation before each drop, tell the story of every artisan and culture, collect sign-ups by country, and still feel as considered as the artifacts themselves.

How we built Quantum Temple's Webflow site

We built RNR's design in Webflow page by page. The home page opens on "A journey into sacred cultures" with a waitlist call to action, then walks through the brand's purpose, its artisans and its partners. A Moon Drops page explains the model in three steps and features the next drop. The drop sign-up form lets visitors pick the countries they want to hear about: Indonesia, Mexico and Japan. Articles and drop items run on Webflow CMS, so the team could publish new stories and drops without touching the layout. We kept a copy of the final build in our Webflow workspace on October 22, 2021.

How Quantum Temple launched

By November 11, 2021 the full site had replaced the waitlist page on quantumtemple.io, with Moon Drops and the first CMS article, a long read on the creation stories behind the brand. Within days the Moon Drops page featured the brand's genesis NFT collection, an ode to Balinese ancestral culture, alongside the physical artifacts. The site stayed on Webflow through at least March 2022.

What happened next

In 2022 Quantum Temple moved its drops to a custom-coded experience and later to a Web3 platform, so the Webflow site we built was its launch home rather than its last one. Our copy of the build is still in our Webflow workspace, and in 2022 it was one of the projects we showed new prospects. For us it set the pattern we still use with RNR: their studio owns the brand and the design, and we turn it into a Webflow site that is ready to launch.
