Who Scribe is and why its marketing team needed Webflow developers

Scribe helps teams capture how work gets done and share it as clear, step-by-step guidance. Its website belongs to a small product marketing team led by Meg Zabrowski, with Ivan Salim, Scribe's in-house marketing designer and developer, turning ideas into Figma and Webflow. Scribe was getting ready to announce Scribe Optimize, and the list of pages behind that announcement was longer than one designer could build alone. Scribe joined the Fri3nds subscription so the designs could keep flowing from Figma while a dedicated Webflow development team built them. The first ask was clear: launch pages for Optimize, plus five new use-case pages, ready before the announcement.

The challenge: a product announcement with a fixed date

A product announcement doesn't wait for a website. Scribe's launch event had a date on the calendar, a registration page to fill, ads and outreach links pointing at it, and copy that kept moving as the messaging settled. We started the way we always do, by aligning on goals and priorities with Meg and Ivan, then working every page through staging so Scribe's team could review before anything went to production. The Optimize registration page came first. It needed a multi-step registration form wired to Scribe's webinar platform, with the steps in the order Scribe wanted and a clear message when someone tried to register with a personal email. Within days of the page going live, Meg wrote to us in our shared channel.

"Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you all for being such amazing partners. You guys have been super fast and responsive, and we really appreciate it always, but especially now as we make our product announcement!"

How we built the Optimize launch pages and forms

Launch work is rarely one clean build. When Scribe's team added tracking fields to the registration form, the webinar platform quietly renumbered the existing fields and the form's steps broke. Terry traced the cause and rebuilt the multi-step logic. Next came the Optimize sales form, built from Scribe's Figma to match the standard sales form with its own styling. The night before launch, that form got stuck on its last step, and Meg called it a huge problem for the launch the next day. By the next morning, Fri3nds, Scribe's DevOps team, Alex and Ivan had it fixed together, along with the on-demand video page.

"HUGE THANK YOU for everyone diving in and getting this all squared away. Huge shout out to Fri3nds for being so quick to implement these changes, huge thank you to our lovely DevOps team, and thank you to Alex and Ivan!!"
Meg Zabrowski, Lead Product Marketing, Scribe

How we launched pages Scribe could test

Scribe doesn't guess about its website, it tests. So the five new use-case pages for IT, operations, finance, HR and customer-facing teams were built to launch as experiments. Each page followed Ivan's Figma, with its own hero, people and testimonials, and a hover effect on the use-case cards that reveals the top apps for each team. When Scribe approved them, we published each one on its own variant URL, so Scribe could A/B test the new pages against the existing ones on its side. The webinar registration page followed the same path: staging, review, release.

What changed for Scribe's team

The real change was capacity. Scribe's team could keep designing and deciding while the Webflow development happened next to them, in the same channel, at launch speed. When we sat down after the announcement, Meg told us requests from other teams at Scribe were already piling up, and that Scribe wanted to keep using Fri3nds as a development resource beyond the original plan.

What happened after the launch

Scribe renewed its subscription with us, and the work kept coming: new pages, fixes and tests, month after month. When Scribe refreshed its brand the following year, it came back to the same team to build the new site in Webflow. That story is its own case study: Scribe 2026 Refresh. Ivan, the person working closest with our developers every day, had already shared a verdict with Meg by the time we sat down after the announcement.

"he said nothing but good things about you guys."
