Who ZAG Creates is and why it needed a Webflow partner

ZAG Creates is a creative and performance marketing agency in Coral Gables, Florida, led by co-founder and executive creative director Lance Ladaga, COO Tessie Fernandez and art director Andrea Marquez. ZAG builds brands, campaigns and websites for clients from higher education to consumer goods. When Lance first sat down with us in October 2024, his ask was simple: a development team ZAG could count on, one that would work under ZAG's name and leave the client relationship with ZAG.

"We need help on web development big-time."
— Lance Ladaga, Co-Founder & Executive Creative Director, ZAG Creates
"I think for my partners one of the biggest things is white labeling."
— Lance Ladaga, Co-Founder & Executive Creative Director, ZAG Creates

Our first piece of work together was a proof of concept: a 3D product animation for one of ZAG's beverage clients, built in Webflow and then dropped onto a Shopify store to show it could live on the client's site.

"This is awesome and we love it."

The challenge: the brand is done, so where is the website?

ZAG's model bundles brand and website, which puts the build right behind the brand reveal. For Witkin + Gallo, a new permitting partnership launching as Permit Doctor Concierge, the site had to carry a public partnership announcement, so ZAG asked for the homepage and contact page first and the rest of the site after.

"Yes, we need the homepage and contact page up as soon as possible."
— Tessie Fernandez, Chief Operating Officer, ZAG Creates

A year later the same pressure came back with Century Home Builders, a South Florida homebuilder ZAG was rebranding. ZAG was about to present the new brand, and the client was already asking about the website.

"Okay, well, the branding's done. Like, when's the website going to be ready?"
— Tessie Fernandez, Chief Operating Officer, ZAG Creates

How we built inside ZAG's projects

Witkin + Gallo. ZAG owned the brand, the Figma design and the client. We built the site in Webflow from Andrea's designs, homepage and contact first, then the remaining pages as ZAG released them. Andrea reviewed every page on a shared staging link and left comments right on the design, and our developers worked through them until the site replaced the "Launching Soon" placeholder on witkin-gallo.com.

Century Home Builders. Tessie wanted buyers to find a home without a real-estate-style search engine. Century sells communities, estates and residences across a handful of South Florida neighborhoods, so we built one listing page that filters by collection, home type and neighborhood, and a homepage search that drops visitors into those same filters. Behind it sit CMS templates for every community, a mega menu, and forms that send leads to the client's HubSpot.

The Century Home Builders Our Homes page: filter buttons for communities, estates, residences, home type and neighborhood above the Active Communities cards.
"So we're trying to make it a little bit more like user-friendly, but they're also not going to be like keeping up with tech. So I wanted to keep it simple."
— Tessie Fernandez, Chief Operating Officer, ZAG Creates

How the launches went

Witkin + Gallo went live in the spring of 2025, and we sent ZAG a handoff guide so its team could keep the site current. On Century, we kicked off with Andrea in mid-February, handed ZAG the full site for QA a month later, and wrapped the project six weeks after kickoff, with a maintenance guide and the Webflow site transferred to ZAG.

"Thank you for sending over the project, it looks so nice."

What changed for ZAG

ZAG now sells brand and website together and hands the build to a team that works inside its process, its designs and its name. ZAG keeps the client, and at the end of Century the Webflow site itself moved into ZAG's hands. After Witkin + Gallo, ZAG brought us into its next client projects, from scoping its own website to reviewing a client's conversion problem, and then Century Home Builders.

"I know Lance and Andrea have spoken very highly of you and the team, and we're very grateful for the work you've done so far."
